A 1909 View of North Platte.

I shared a version of this image earlier today on a Facebook group — You know you’re from North Platte when…. — and CeeAnn G. left a comment that it was available at the Library of Congress. It took a little while to find it because I was looking for image of “North Platte” and the title of the image, as inscribed on the center frame is “North Platt.”  Searching on that at the Library of Congress Prints and Photographs Online Catalog, it pops up as the first item in the search results.
1909 View of North Platte, NebraskaI downloaded the image from the Library of Congress and digitally adjusted it to “correct” the fade.  I then uploaded the image to Flickr.
