Stones & Eclectic

Photography Now & Then #110

One of the byproducts from the recent lateral line work in our backyard is a lot of rock, mostly small, but some that is fair sized. All of it needs to be moved before the area is seeded with grass.  Some of the stones in the pile was moved there by the workers, but most was from our work yesterday and today.  There is plenty left that would eventually play havoc with mower blades if not picked up. The iPhone 6s was placed on the pile to give a sense of perspective for the size of the pile.

eclectic: This describes a combination of many different individual elements of styles, themes, mediums or inspirations pooled from many sources. It can refer to musical tastes, dress sense, interior design…many things. (urban dictionary)

That’s the word, eclectic, that came to mind in describing this building that sits along Fall River in Estes Park, Colorado.
