Photography Now & Then #116
Several years ago, I converted the lower part of our RV’s closet into shelves with a sized-to-fit plastic storage box on each shelf used as a clothes drawer. It worked so well that I am doing the same with the upper part of the closet.
Now: Shelf for converting space in camper closet for more efficient storage, west-central Arkansas, April 27, 2018 (Apple iPhone 6s)

We had gone through Grand Junction, Colorado over the years, but it was always on the way to somewhere else. In 2011, our plans had us stopping for a few days and, because of hot weather, we did the same in 2015.
Colorado National Monument, which overlooks Grand Junction from the west, was a pleasant surprise. “Sheer-walled canyons cut deep into sandstone and granite–gneiss–schist rock formations. This is an area of desert land high on the Colorado Plateau, with pinion and juniper forests on the plateau. The park hosts a wide range of wildlife, including red-tailed hawks, golden eagles, ravens, jays, desert bighorn sheep, and coyotes.” (Wikipedia)
Then: Switchbacks on Monuent Road, Colorado National Monument, Colorado, September 18, 2011 (Pentax K-r)
Several legs of the switchbacks climbing up to the mesa top can be seen in the photo.
