Pushing against heavy flow

This tug was pushing against very high flows in the Arkansas River just upstream the Big Dam Bridge at Murray Lock and Dam near Little Rock, May 12, 2007.

    Thanks for the info…. We have stayed in West Menphis & Barling Arkaksas on the Arkansas River… Love watching the barges…

    We’ve never actually camped on the banks of a navigable river. We camped on the banks of the Snake River in Wyoming in 2007, but that’s not the same thing. It would be interesting, I think, to see the river traffic.
