Three Guys and a Tent – Paha Qué

Most of the material presented here on Haw Creek is either RVs or RV related.  However, there are many convenient and useful items that are not specifically RV related.

Paha Qué Wilderness, Inc., of Poway, California, for instance, offers a number of products RVers might find useful.

On our summer 2010 trip, for example, we ran into several situations where there was little available shade and the orientation of the campsite was such that our camper awning wasn’t of much use. One of Paha Qué’s shade shelters would have been very helpful.   The Shadow Mountain Cabana would have been particularly useful at Wyoming’s Pathfinder Reservoir, where we left a day early due to persistent windy conditions.

Tent campers and RV campers whose RV doesn’t have a bathroom with shower and/or toilet  might find the Tepee Shower & Outhouse useful, especially if camping away from “full service” campgrounds.  We saw the Tepee Shower & Outhouse, or something similar, set up in several campgrounds on our trip.

From the website:

Three guys and a tent… That’s how it all started. Three camping buddies talking over many evening campfires about how to build the better tent. One that wouldn’t leak, but was roomy. One that offered some headroom to folks that stand 6′ or taller; and, one that provided camping enthusiasts all the luxuries of home, when they were away from their own.

Paha Qué Wilderness, Inc. offers several other products.
