1911 double writing desk and lamp, 2nd floor balcony overlooking lobby, Old Faithful Inn.  A 1929 furniture inventory listed some of the attractive oak-partner writing desks that are still in service today. Each desk sports a green stained glass lampshade with copper overlay in the shape of pine trees and an owl, coupled with a privacy screen above. In the old days, visitors wrote letters and “souvenir postals” here, much as they do today.
