Grand Teton National Park is one of our favorite destinations. My first visit to the park was on a vacation trip with my grandparents in 1963. The next visit was ten years later when I was stationed in Idaho and, over, the years, we’ve visited many times.
We usually stop at Colter Bay for the store, showers and/or laundry but there are plenty of other things to do. We have camped at the Colter Bay campground, but our favorite is at the other end of the park at Gros Ventre.
