Estes Park — September 4, 2009
With the upcoming Labor Day holiday, it was time for us to move to the KOA campground in Estes Park.
By the time that we knew for sure what days we would be traveling, there were no campsites available in Rocky Mountain National Park for the holiday weekend, so we had reserved 4 nights in the park and 3 nights in Estes Park.
In a way, I wish we had traveled to Rocky Mountain a week later. We wouldn’t have had to move and the elk viewing probably would have even been better.
