Karen came up with a different idea for watching shows on her iPad while she’s quilting.  She had been setting it on the quilt on the quilting frame using the folding keyboard case to prop it up.  However, there was a bit of a problem with glare on the screen from room lighting. She thought that maybe we could do something putting the iPad on the wall somehow and this mount is  what we came up with.  Works great. The photo is after it was mounted and she had the first show going on it – NCIS on Netflix.

We’ve been to Olbrich Gardens several times over the years when in the Madison area on family visits.

Olbrich Botanical Gardens3 is located in Madison, Wisconsin. Named for its founder, Michael Olbrich, the gardens are owned and operated jointly by the City of Madison Parks and the non-profit Olbrich Botanical Society. The gardens were established in 1952.

Noteworthy additions to the gardens were the Bolz Conservatory in 1991, and a Thai pavilion or sala, a gift to the University of Wisconsin–Madison from the Thai Chapter of the Wisconsin Alumni Association and the government of Thailand through its king, Bhumibol Adulyadej. Opened in 2002, it is one of only four sala outside of Thailand and one of two in the United States (the other is located in Hawaii).
