Silver Streak is the name of the American RV builder that made the “house” and installed it on the “cutaway” incomplete body from Hanomag. Silver Streak is known mostly for its high-grade travel trailers. They built a few class A (full body) motorhomes, a few on class C (cutaway/incomplete van chassis, and perhaps a slide-in truck camper or two. Most class C Silver Streaks were on Dodge incomplete van chassis. This one obviously was not, being on the Hanomag chassis.

“…in 1969 the truck making division of Hanomag-Henschel went to Daimler Benz…” “In 1990, Daimler-Benz AG sold the remaining parts and accessories to a small private company in Hannover which remains to be the last source for original Hanomag parts and accessories worldwide.”
