There is a growing trend how many Americans are spending their vacation time. Roughly 8.3 million Americans households own a recreational vehicle, also known as an RV; that’s a 16% increase since 2001.
“It’s like being at home while you’re on the road,” said Alice Hertel from Stockton, Missouri. “You have all your stuff and you can travel with your animals.”
That’s why Hertel came to Heise Hot Springs Campground with her friends and family.

This article and video was interesting personally. In July, we were camped in Idaho Falls in our class C motorhome. We went on a drive that took us into the mountains northeast of town. Unlike normal practice, we didn’t have anything to drink with us and stopped at the Heise Hot Springs store and office, shown in the video, to get some water. Though we didn’t drive into the campground, it looked like one we might be interested in staying at in the future.
