After too long a period of time, I’ve completed the first update of one of my type-of-RV pages, the Class A motorhome RV page.
The update includes a revised explanation of what a Class A motorhome is. To make the page more mobile device friendly, I’ve removed tables.
Links to all of the current US Class A RV manufacturers are included. In the past, I’ve attempted to include the names of the current models, but that results in the page being out of date as soon as the next model year rolls around as models are dropped and new models are added.
Several manufacturers were dropped as they were no longer in production.

You may probably remember my ambitions post retirement of travelling all over India in a mobile home which had to be dropped for issues connected with my late wife’s health. I still have nostalgia for that idea but, now it is too late to revive that idea due to my own health issues.
I do remember that. Life and yearning often, of necessity, take different paths.
Because of the pandemic, we haven’t used our motorhome since 2019. Last year, we took one trip to Colorado but stayed in hotels and Airbnbs. This year, we took one unexpected trip to Virginia and plan to go back to the Atlantic coastal region of the Carolinas and Virginia. Because of the more urban nature of some of the places we will be going to, we won’t be using the motorhome.
While we haven’t traveled in the camper, we have used its generator several times to power portions of the house when we’ve lost power. Several years ago, I installed connections that allow me to plug the output of the generator to the house and flip a switch to power several circuits in the house.
