I’ve been a big fan of Dale Chihuly’s glass creations since I saw one at the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock, Arkansas.
On Ray and Cindy’s RV Travels blog, I read that they had visited Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, Arizona, where they saw the Chihuly in the Garden exhibit, where Chihuly glass art is on display on the garden trails. If we were planning a trip to Arizona, this would certainly be something we’d want to stop and see.
In his post, Ray says, “Scott had told us that to really appreciate the glass work, you needed to see it at night, and we were allowed to stay until 8:00. There is quite a difference between what the glass looks like in the daytime versus the night, with all the lights turned on.” There are plenty of pictures of the glass art in a couple of the posts on Ray and Cindy’s RV Travels blog (see links below).
The Chihuly glass art will be exhibited through May 18, 2014
