Busy & Undine

Photography Now & Then #96

Quite cold today – it was right at freezing when I headed to the gym, but was colder after I dropped down off the ridge, 29°F in the little town just down the road.  It had been raining, which froze on the windshield and side windows of the truck. Then it was sleet all the way in to town. At 2 PM, it’s finally up to 35°F, with a forecast of 44°F and another freeze tonight.

April!!

With a much wetter than normal year, Yellowstone National Park waterfalls that might normally be a trickle in August had pretty decent flow when we saw them in 2010.  Undine falls is near Mammoth Hot Springs and can be viewed from a viewing point just off the Grand Loop Road heading to the Canyon area.
