Bumblebee & Doctor’s

Photography Now & Then #109

Getting a few shots by the azaleas this afternoon, their buzzing got my attention.  Multiple bumblebees were busy feed on the flowers and, in exchange, providing pollination services.  It’s always difficult to get flying insects.  This photo is the best of a large number of pictures I took today, with the bee’s proboscis and one wing visible.

It sure seems like we are spending a lot more times in various doctor offices these days.  I suppose it’s one of the consequences of getting older.  This photo was taken in an exam room while I was waiting for my primary care doctor for a regular periodic evaluation.
