Our Azaleas are approaching peak blossom time – and cold weather is forecast, with the potential for freezing temperatures April 3rd and 4th (Tuesday and Wednesday) nights after a very warm Tuesday.

This pink azalea started out as a gift miniature 30 years. Planted outside, it stayed small for many years, then started getting larger until it is the same size as the others.

We’ve seen signs warning of rattlesnakes in quite a few places. We watch for them, but rarely see them.  However, we have seen a  few, including one in a place in South Dakota where a parent was being less than attentive on a trail – “Mommy! Look at me!”.
