According to a Trailer Life article, Airstream Earns Gold Rating for Sustainability Practices, TRA Certification of Elkhart, Indiana, has designated Airstream Inc. as a “Certified Green Capable Manufacturer.”
Citing Jackson Center, Ohio-based Airstream’s “streamlined production process that minimizes waste and utilizes low-emitting materials,” TRA’s independent third-party certification team also recognized the manufacturer for using recycled water in its waterproof test booth. TRA said in a news release that certification of the facility indicates that Airstream “advocates the production of ‘green’ RVs in a sustainable manner.”
